Our Story

In the coming years, conversation between business leaders, from current team members and from all future team members, about how much time that we as professionals spend outdoors versus indoors, will – we believe – become as ubiquitous, polarising and complex as today’s working from home conversation.

In the best of businesses, this new conversation has already started. We are joining that conversation. And via our Fresh Perspectives business – we’re leading that conversation in the Northeast of England.

Every business needs to work out the best way to get the outdoor/indoor balance right, just for them, while strengthening their business at the same time. This is where Fresh Perspectives comes in.

Small Change. Big Change.

Pure, accelerated, distraction-free thinking and planning for business is best done outdoors. But the change, on a practical level, does not have to be, or feel, big, disconcerting or disruptive. We are advocates of Small Change… Big Change.

Being outdoors, from just one day each month, fuels big-picture business and personal progression and growth like nothing we know. One small change of environment, for a very small amount of time, can lead to big, positive and immediate change in business progression and growth.

Why? Because being outdoors is the best environment within which to pause, and think, clearly. About the clutter holding you back. And the opportunities passing you by.

From boosting innovation and productivity, to improving employee retention – there’s plenty of research and impact evidence to share.

On an ongoing basis, we are collating a library of rich and valuable easy-reads to support what we do – and what you can do.

To access everything, fully, first – and for free – join The Fresh Perspectives Community.

What our clients say

  • Elaine Morris, Founder of Curious Edge

    Reading time: 1 minute
The [blended] strategy day with Jane helped me to lay it all out but draw me closer to my passion and the heart of what I really want to do. By the end of the day, we were able to put some structure around my thoughts and produce the beginning of a plan to take forward. I was very excited about the process, and I was not disappointed!
  • Louise Demetriou, Founder & MD at Louise Demetriou Consultancy & Coaching

    Reading time: 1 minute
I wanted my business to grow, so enlisted Jane’s consultancy support to help me define my strategy. With some outdoor thinking, we deep-dived to analyse all aspects of the business and systematically worked on the strategy, breaking it down into smaller chunks, whilst referring back to my vision and values to ensure it aligned.
  • Nick Ivel, Chair of Xsem Board

    Reading time: 1 minute
Not shying away from potential conflict, Jane confidently challenged the status quo and our thinking. She guided the company along an alternative and more engaging path that empowered colleagues at all levels within the organisation, encouraging them to contribute their ideas for improvements and to embrace the changes.
