Our People

25 years in senior teaching and governmental roles were rewarding and nourishing in so many ways. But the claustrophobia was real. ‘Jane’ disappeared. So, I left it all behind. I downed tools. I escaped!

And now, for over a decade, I have fused a love of world class organisational and individual development with a love of geology, geography and endless fresh air – and fresh thinking. For me, and for the people and the businesses I help.

Being outdoors changed me. I realised that the clutter of my day-to-day was holding me back. And I realised that opportunities were passing me by.

For opportunities are like rainbows. Amazing. Spontaneous. Often beautiful. Yet disappear in an instant. I made the decision, and the change, to never miss another.

With a health scare in 2024, never missing another opportunity was underlined. And Fresh Perspectives was born.

So, the claustrophobia is behind me now. And it’s behind every single one of the people I work with too.

I, and they, have come to realise that when it comes to big-picture business and personal progression and growth, you can’t see anything, until you remove everything. And get outdoors!”

What our clients say

“Working with Jane has been a breath of fresh air – quite literally! Her outdoor, walk-and-talk coaching makes a huge difference. Instead of feeling boxed in around a table, and let’s be honest sometimes awkward eye contact making conversation tougher, by walking side-by-side it simply creates a natural style that clears your mind and helps you think and speak more freely. It’s amazing how ideas just seem to flow when you’re moving. I’d highly recommend Jane to anyone looking for a fresh, effective approach to coaching.”
